There is nothing more capivating to an audience of divers than footage of turtles and sharks. Thanks to Kym and fantastic film of Sipidan, all eyes were glued to the screen.

New Look

Dive Timor Lorosae has had a bit of a revamp, creating a lot more space for those parties!

So come and see for yourself tonight at the DTL Dive Club, 7 p.m. onwards.

What is a Divemaster?

A Divemaster is a role model, a fun person with impecible rescue skills, great theoretical knowledge and a total proffessional. In addition, a Divemaster must be able to pass the snorkel test!

While standing in the water fountain!

What is in this?

Done!

Getting Prepared

Down the hatch!

Thank God that's over!

All the girls love a Divemaster

And later that evening.........

Congratulations to JB and Raimundo, it was a tough course, but a lot of fun.

What a find!!

I've spent many hundreds of dives on Dili Rock and many years diving in East Timor, but have never seen this.

Bubblemakers

Can you imagine trying out Scuba Diving for the first time at the young age of 8? That is the minimum age for the PADI Bubblemaker programme.

Alex Gusmao

At a maximum depth of 2 meters in the swimming pool Alex Gusmao and Luc Bessuges swam through hoops, did handstands, played catch with underwater toys and even tried an egg and spoon race.

Luc Bessuges

They both got thier dives logged in thier own logbooks and now want to start on the PADI Seal Team programme.

DTL Dive Club

DTL's 1st dive club took place on the 26th of January which unfortunately clashed with Australia Day. But we still had around 25 attendees, including a visiting Estonian journalist who is reporting on the diving in East Timor.

Many thanks to all those that attended, especially Tania our guest speaker. Congratulations to Elder who won a Neo2 mask in our prize draw.
The Dive Club will meet every last monday in every month, its a perfect forum to meet new buddies, talk diving tales and get special offers and prizes.
There is a monthly photo competition, this month is the most unusual critter in line with the lower vis this time of the year (saying that, we had 20 meters vis at K41 yesterday), so get your cameras clicking!
Looking forward to seeing you next month February the 23rd 7pm.
